We rented a furnished flat in in Beyoglu near Taksim and Tunel in Turkey for a month! So exciting! Beyoğlu is a district located on the European side of İstanbul, Turkey, separated from the old city (historic peninsula of Constantinople) by the Golden Horn. Presently this figures prominently into the art/ music/ shopping district of Istanbul. Less than two weeks until we leave!

ReplyDeleteYay! That's so exciting. I'm so jealous - I LOVE Turkey but have never been to Istanbul. You are going to have an amazing time. I think its great that you are staying for that long too - you'll really get a feel for the place in that time. Can I come too??!

ReplyDeleteWe fly out on the fifth! So just over ten days... Im very excited! We booked the apartment for the month of june so Turkey is kind of in the middle...the lovely picture was acquired via Flicker (see below pic for link) and is not of the actual apartment...hehheheheh...
